The American University of Nigeria, Yola, is seeking a Permanent Regional Admission Representative. This position is a local one open to indigenous and/or legal residents of Nigeria.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Regional Admissions Representative is responsible for the Admissions department’s coverage in an assigned region; in all aspects of the admissions process. They will explain the goals and values of the university; supply information to prospective students and their parents about courses of study, scholarships and admissions requirement, and campus life. They serve as a remote member of the Admissions team in the region. This position is primarily responsible for recruiting students to achieve enrollment goals. Incumbent shall handle off-campus recruiting and also has responsibilities for an entire recruitment territory.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Humanities or other field appropriate to area of assignment.
Demonstrated experience in similar or related positions, or related marketing experience or training.
Excellent oral and written English.
Knowledge of other national and international language is an advantage.
Skills in effective communication and public presentations.
Experience with and sensitivity to diverse populations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically, Word, Access and Excel.

Some supervisory skills and training experience.
Ability to represent the office and the university in a professional manner.
Maintain a positive attitude that will promote a healthy cultural climate in admission.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Sport Assistant, oversees AUN Club House gym facilities and attends guests of the Fitness center, monitors use of the facilities and equipment, and cleans and maintains equipment.
Position Requirements:
At least ND in related field, with two year(s) of experience in a reputable Institution.
Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy items bending, standing, climbing or walking.
Must be able to work safely in an environment.
Routinely required to work under different weather conditions.
Effective English – verbal and written communication.
Strong knowledge of gym equipments and procedure.
Ability to work on shift and a team player.
Other requirements, abilities for the position:
Attend to emergencies when necessary.
Attend safety meetings and other related meetings.
Assist in the instruction and supervision of work orders.
Assist with inventory control and security.
Support and enforce all policies of AUN gym/fitness center
